Spring is Here!

Week of March 31st

Just a reminder:
We will be going on our UMS field trip this Monday 3/31.  Please make sure your child has returned their permission slip.

Our poetry trip to 826 Michigan is this Wednesday 4/2.  Please make sure your child has returned their permission slip.

We will have an assembly to celebrate the end of March is Reading Month on 4/1 at 2:00 p.m.  Families are invited.

Week of March 24th

Science Fair-Tuesday March 25
Please have your child bring their project to school Tuesday morning.  There will be an evening science fair for families beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Field Trips
We have two upcoming trips. Please look for permission slips in your child's take home folder this week.

Monday 3/31- We will travel to the University Musical Society's performance of Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis.  To learn more about the trip click here.

Wednesday 4/2- We will visit 826 Michigan to participate in a trip entitled Do Pass Go; Do Collect 200 Stanzas, which focuses on poetry.  To learn more about this trip, click here.

Week of March 17th

Report cards go home Monday, March 17th.  Please check your child's backpack.

The melting and freezing over the last few days has made our playground pretty messy!  As the weather changes please make sure your child is dressed to stay dry while outside.  Children should bring boots or outside shoes to wear outdoors and inside shoes for the classroom. Thanks for your cooperation in keeping our classroom clean.
